Chimney Concepts

All I can say about Chimney Concepts is that their customer service post install of my almost 3 year old fireplace insert is superb! I’ve had some minor problems with it lighting due to fluctuations in the weather. Tyler and Kyle have been very helpful in getting my fireplace up and running again. But also Dave was superb in trying to help me troubleshoot some issues over the phone . Most companies will just forget about their customers after “the sale” but Chimney Concepts is not that company. You won’t be disappointed utilizing their services.

I never write reviews, and gave them several attempts to fix the issue. We realized after it was too late that the techs were not educated on our unit. They had an issue during adding our liner in, they told me they HAD to remove our adjustable throat damper and the only option was to add a top sealing damper instead. This is not a regular fireplace, it is ducted and has blowers and truly heats our home (has worked perfectly since then 80s as a fireplace furnace) now without a control on the heat in the firebox, we are left with extremely ineffective heating. They didn't give any suggestions about adding in a removable baffle plate or anything to fix their mistake, the tech was telling me top dampers are more efficient....he failed to mention that's only when the fireplace isn't in use. Why would I be paying $7k on a heating unit and only care about its efficiency when I'm not using it? The work was very sloppy, screws stripped, no tension on the damper cable, messd op our original unit, the tuck pointing did not match at all all, etc. They came back pretty quickly and had another guy try to fix the previous mistakes after I sent pictures. It matched better but it's now cracking in less than a year. I've tried reaching out on multiple occasions over several months especially on the heating issue and have not gotten a reply. Total scam. I have everything documented and will be reporting if I hear nothing after a final attempt, if they can't fix it, a refund at the very least so I can pay a company that CAN fix it.

Had Devon out for a quote on a chimney repair. He was very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Look forward to working further with him and Chimney Concepts.

Highly recommend Chimney Concepts, Devon came out to do an inspection and you can tell he takes pride in his work and making sure things are safe. He explained everything thoroughly during the inspection and left me with no unanswered questions. Really appreciate the thorough work and great attitude!
