We are remodeling our house. I thought it would be nice to do a linear fireplace. So I stopped in and asked how much? I was told that they had a sale going and they were under $6600. So I put down a deposit and started the process. Later, I was told that the install would add another $6337 because they could not use any of the existing vent work. Then later, I was told that the fireplace produced too much heat and my TV would have to be mounted much higher than I wanted. Because of this, I had to go with the $10,704 model bringing the total to $16,858. Then I was told the fireplace could not be flush mounted but had to sit back (recessed) in a window box. Later, they said that adding the logs and media to the fireplace would bring it to $18,789. They insisted on building the wall themselves. However, the people who built it and installed the fireplace did not make the sides even or even straight. So the contractor for my house had to spend a long time trying to even out the drywall and I spent a weekend squaring the corners. Good thing the contractor was there when they were installing it because he called me and said that instead of putting it in a window box (recessed), they were building it out into the room by 8". When it was done, the inside looks great and I love the features. However, it produces almost no heat into the room at all. Then I asked why there was no finished front on the metal part of the frame that shows? They said that my fireplace was the only model that does not have one. Every other display they had showed one, so how was I supposed to know that was not included. When I asked, they said there was a custom metal shop that could make me one... So I guess when they say $6600, what they really mean is $20,000.

Steven, our service technician was professional, friendly and positive. We are always happy with the quality of service we receive. We use our fireplace almost every day 8 months of the year and after 25 years, still working great.
