Mississippi Valley Masonry

We are exceptionally happy with MV Masonry. They came in a timely manner and found a leak that's been nagging us for several years. They tuck pointed as needed and reset some loose stones. Fantastic.

Had a crumbling chimney due to decades of neglect and poor construction from when the house was built. Bryan and his crew spent several days repairing this chimney, cutting out each brick to replace. I’m glad I called them to get this repaired properly before it turned in to a huge nightmare. They were knowledgeable and professional.

Bryan and his team did a great job replacing my old wooden front steps, inset into old stone walls, with poured concrete steps. This was the second project with MSM as a couple years ago he re-did the tops of my walls and widened my driveway, re-building the original masonry wall at the new width. There aren't many people with the skillset to handle masonry walls that are made with stones of different sizes, and Bryan did an amazing job with it, so I knew he'd be able to replace the stairs without damage to the old stone wall. It came out great. Bryan was excellent about offering options for replacing the railing, and also let me know right away when additional labor costs were needed, after discovering that there was actually old decayed concrete steps under the wood (and the additional labor cost was both moderate and understandable). Finished steps are safe and look great, and I'll use Mississippi Valley Masonry again when I need to fix other parts of my house's masonry.

Bryan and his team did some repointing and brick correction on my house’s brick veneer - some of the walls were bowing a little and had some extensive cracks. Bryan was quick to respond to my inquiry (literally within the hour) and was able to fit me in within two weeks of my initial outreach. His team was able to complete all of the masonry work in a day and then came back to wrap things up and repaint. While you tell that repairs were made to the brick, it looks much better than it did before. Overall, we were very happy with MVM and highly recommend them to anyone looking to have masonry work done! (See before and after photos below)
