Tacoma Fireplace

Our new fireplace was installed this past spring and was getting ready to be used for the first time as the cold season approached. When I lit it a few times, the flame was excessively large and the glass became blackened. Concerned, I called Tacoma Fireplace for an inspection — and I’m so glad I did. John from Tacoma Fireplace was extremely friendly, professional, and thorough. He carefully prepared the work area with protective coverings and conducted a detailed inspection. He explained that during the conversion from natural gas to propane, two critical components — the burner orifice and the pilot orifice — had not been replaced. This caused excessive propane flow, large flames, and incomplete combustion, which blackened the fireplace interior. John’s explanation was clear and easy to understand. He thoroughly cleaned all the black residue and immediately ordered the correct conversion kit. Once installed, my fireplace worked perfectly. He also serviced my older fireplace, which had a malfunctioning remote control, and recommended a modern compatible remote. I’m truly impressed with John’s professionalism, expertise, and customer care. Tacoma Fireplace turned what could have been a hazardous situation into a safe, reliable, and beautifully functioning fireplace. Highly recommend!

Exceptional service! John was a great technician. Quickly identified the issue and made quick work of fixing our fireplace. Went above and beyond simply fixing the problem with the burner by also cleaning and painting the firebox to make it look like new. Highly recommend John and Tacoma Fireplace!
