It was easy to schedule an appointment for a chimney cleaning and inspection, and the team was able to fit me in quickly. Caden, the technician, arrived a bit early and kept me updated with texts and emails that included his photo, so I knew who to expect. He also called ahead to let me know he was on the way. Caden was very friendly, professional, and clearly knew a lot about chimney work. After the inspection, I received a detailed report with photos showing any issues that were found. I highly recommend their chimney sweep services!

Level Up Chimney Sweeps did an excellent job cleaning and inspecting my chimney. Caden showed up right on time and was very professional throughout the whole process. He explained everything clearly about my chimney, liner, and insulation, and even gave helpful tips on what to watch for to keep things running smoothly. Something is definitely off about this "chimney sweep service". Scheduling, itself, was suspect for a few reasons... Through the booking system on their website they had all kinds of appointments available basically next day (in retrospect, I would have preferred a service that seemed busy and booking a couple weeks out but I personally had a sense of urgency about getting the chimney cleaned). So I booked an appointment that way but evidently that wasn't really confirmed until I spoke to someone on the phone (calling from a different number and seemed like a third party scheduling service). My appointment was for right after a big snow storm hit so I was informed that they wouldn't be able to send technicians out so I rescheduled for later in the week. The "technician" showed up in a hatchback sedan and initially carried in a small bag of (presumably) tools. It was clear there was no specialized equipment. He also explained that he didn't need to get on the roof (too unsafe) and said he had brushes that could reach up from the fireplace. Well, why weren't they able to send a technician out after the storm if all he needed to do was stick some extended rotary brushes and a shop vac in my wood stove in my cozy living room?? His brushes were nothing special. Then he claimed he would spray a chemical that would treat the whole chimney...whatever. This is clearly a bad review...If this company wants to reach out to me to address my concerns and win back some trust feel free to- I'm in your system. But in the meantime I am going to drop this 1 star bomb and advise everyone to stay away from this company. It just seems like a sham, money making enterprise.
