We highly recommend using The Irish Sweep for all of your fireplace/chimney needs. Booking an appointment was straightforward, the two-person team showed up promptly, and they left us with a much cleaner and safer fireplace and chimney. They were also very conscientious about not letting any soot get onto anything else in the room. Fantastic service for a very reasonable price!

After an obvious scam from a well known firm, I called The Irish Sweep and had several conversations with Sally who was very clear about the process and estimate. She explained that chimney cleaning services have a very high scam and poor service record, and I've talked to other friend who reported such things such as exorbitant charges and poor work. The service was professional and well done with a fair charge, including Sally coming along with the workers and following up to check with me. Aside from the work itself, it is so reassuring to have confidence not just with the quality of the service but to be trusting their integrity.

I shopped around and found these folks to be the best! No BS. Just straight shooting. More than a year after our service, I sent an email on a whim about an issue we were having with smoke, and Sally came out TWICE of her own accord to help us trouble-shoot. In the end, we got our setup working much better!

I wanted someone local and who knew what they were doing to clean my dryer vent. I suspected a chimney sweep specialist could also clean dryer vents and saw that they were certified. Three people showed up at my home. The regular crew of two and also the owner Sally — because she likes meeting her customers. They first started the dryer and did an air flow reading as a baseline. They could tell right away that air was not flowing properly. They then unhooked the dryer and started using their “mini-sweep brush” to pull the lint out. They were very thorough, took their time and made sure that vent was clear. They then took an “after” air flow reading to make sure that it was within acceptable range. They vacuumed all the lint indoors and picked up most of the lint outdoors that did not make it into their bags. I liked that I was able to ask questions and they didn’t stop till they got all the blockages out. One of the crew seemed like an apprentice and I liked how they were training future generations to work in the business. I will call them again and not wait as long to get my dryer vents cleaned.
